Please review our terms and conditions before making any payments

Definitions
“Client” refers to the person or company requesting services.
“Agreement” refers to the contract between the client and 1clickwebdesigns.

1. Quotations
All quotations provided are fixed and include all clearly specified services. There are no hidden charges. Should you request additional pages, images, logos, or text beyond what was initially agreed upon, supplementary charges will apply as outlined in our pricing structure.

2. Deposit and Project Commencement
A non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total project cost is required prior to the commencement of any work, unless otherwise agreed in writing. If no content (text, images, logos) is received within 60 calendar days of the deposit payment, the project will be archived and the deposit forfeited. Project timelines generally range from 4 to 6 weeks, but may vary depending on workload and complexity. Three revisions of the initial design will be provided and any addtional changes will be charged at £20/hour.

3. Contractual Agreement
The client’s approval to proceed with work constitutes a legally binding agreement between the client and 1clickwebdesigns. Payment of the deposit will be taken as confirmation of acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

4. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Disclaimer
While 1clickwebdesigns makes every reasonable effort to optimise websites for search engines, no guarantees can be made regarding placement or ranking on search engines or directories, nor the level of traffic the site will generate.

5. Content Submission
All text and images must be supplied by the client, who is solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use any submitted materials. Content should be submitted in Microsoft Word or PDF format within 60 days of the deposit payment, unless otherwise agreed.

6. Project Completion and Review
Upon completion, the website will be uploaded to a live demo server for client review. The client is responsible for reviewing all content, functionality, and contact forms. Any required amendments should be submitted at this stage.

7. Final Payment and Go-Live
Final payment of the remaining balance is due once the client approves the demo version of the website. Upon receipt, 1clickwebdesigns will register a complimentary UK domain, if required and commence hosting. Failure to make final payment within 14 days of approval may result in project suspension or termination. On completion of the final payment a handover will be made which will include login credentials and any documentation or training agreed upon.

8. Payment Plans and Cancellations
Optional payment plans may be available, split into 10 monthly installments following the initial deposit. Early termination of the plan will incur a cancellation fee equal to 30% of the outstanding balance. This fee covers prior development work and obligations to third-party service providers. Non-payment or failure to pay the exit fee may result in account closure and forfeiture of the website. Legal action may be taken to recover unpaid dues.

9. Intellectual Property & Credits
All websites must retain a discreet credit at the footer stating:
“Designed by 1clickwebdesigns” or similar, such as “Cornwall Website Hosting” or “Website Design Cornwall.”

10. Post-Launch Updates
Post-launch changes are billed at £20 per hour, unless deemed minor (at our discretion), in which case they may be made free of charge.

11. Renewals
Website hosting and domain services are free for the first 12 months (if included in the initial quote). Renewals thereafter are charged at rates ranging from £30 to £60 annually, depending on the website’s size and resource requirements. Renewal notices will be emailed 15 days prior to renewal. Included hosting packages come with 600MB of storage and 1GB monthly bandwidth; additional resources may be purchased upon request.

12. Technical Support
We offer free email-based technical support for the first 6 months following your website’s launch.

13. Cancellation Policy
Clients may cancel at any stage; however, they remain liable for all work completed to date. An invoice will be issued accordingly. If domain migration is required, a fixed fee of £25 will be charged. 30 days’ notice is required to cancel hosting services.

14. Risk and Liability
Once the website is delivered, the client assumes full responsibility for its security and maintenance. We offer an optional maintenance package at £15/month. 1clickwebdesigns shall not be liable for damage caused by third-party plugins, malware, hacking attempts, or viruses, although we take every reasonable step to safeguard your site prior to delivery.

15. Hosting and Maintenance Renewals
For packages including hosting, the first 12 months are complimentary. After that, monthly hosting and maintenance plans begin at £15/month, automatically renewing unless cancelled. Payment is due within 7 days of the renewal date; failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination. We reserve the right to terminate services at any time in cases of abuse or spam-related blacklisting.

16. Themes and Templates
Where appropriate, 1clickwebdesigns may use commercially licensed themes as a base for development to match the client’s desired design. All templates used are legally acquired and modified according to project needs.
